About Me

I am a physician, soldier, writer. Did three tours in Iraq as an Army medical officer and flight surgeon. Spent time in Rwanda, Bosnia, Kosovo, and Honduras where I performed disaster relief missions and taught emergency medicine. I finished an MFA ( Summer 2011) in creative nonfiction from Ashland University. I am writing a memoir of my experiences as a combat physician. Love jazz and Latin rhythms. Favorite Psalm is 91:1. Will eat almost anything tasty.
